IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Frisco, TX! This role involves supporting the transition of HR and Finance systems, gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and assisting with system implementation efforts. The organization operates within the public sector and emphasizes process improvement through technology solutions.
Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Under general supervision, acts as an IT Project Lead for technology initiatives and serves as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders.
- Evaluates and documents business processes to recommend improvements.
- Delivers system requirements, software specifications, and project management support.
- Facilitates cross-departmental communication and training efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
- Plays a pivotal role in defining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to HR and financial systems.
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- 3+ years of experience gathering documents and business processes in a business analyst role.
- Experience supporting Human Resources and/or Finance teams during technology system transitions.
- Proven ability to document requirements and evaluate business processes.
- Strong communication skills and experience facilitating meetings and training sessions.
- Experience with ERP, HRIS, payroll, or finance system implementations.
