IDR is seeking a Project Manager, Risk & Governance to join one of our top clients in the Financial Services industry for an opportunity in New York.
Position Overview for the Project Manager, Risk & Governance
- Support PMO efforts for risk governance, regulatory, and strategic initiatives across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and action items to keep stakeholders aligned.
- Track progress while escalating risks, issues, and blockers as needed to support timely decision-making.
- Prepare status reports, governance materials, and management updates for leadership consumption.
- Assist with governance committee activities, including meeting coordination and action tracking.
Requirements for the Project Manager, Risk & Governance:
- Strong PMO, project coordination, or delivery management experience with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated organizational, communication, and reporting skills, including experience producing executive-ready status updates and dashboards.
- Experience within Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, Governance, or Financial Services environments is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to facilitate executive and governance forums, including meeting facilitation, action tracking, and governance documentation.
- Experience participating in or supporting Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), Own Risk and Solvency Assessments (ORSA), internal audits, or similar risk-management activities.
