IDR is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Network Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fort Worth, TX . This role involves supporting and maintaining the organization's cybersecurity infrastructure, including network security protocols, firewall management, and advanced troubleshooting to ensure robust protection of vital systems. Position Overview for the Senior Cybersecurity Network Engineer
- Develops, implements, and maintains security measures across enterprise networks, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment and related services.
- Diagnoses, identifies, and resolves complex network security issues.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation of network security architecture and issues.
- Provides support and guidance on network security best practices and solutions.
Requirements for the Senior Cybersecurity Network Engineer:
- 5+ years of Network Security or Network Cybersecurity experience
- Cisco Router & Switch Configuration - Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches in enterprise environments.
- Firewall Administration - Managing and maintaining Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, or Check Point firewalls, including rule creation and policy management.
- VPN Deployment & Support - Configuring and troubleshooting Site-to-Site VPNs and Remote Access VPNs.
- Advanced Network Troubleshooting - Diagnosing and resolving complex LAN/WAN connectivity, performance, and routing issues.
