IDR is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a remote opportunity. This role involves developing enterprise applications within HR-related environments, specifically supporting severance programs, workforce management, and benefits. The position offers an exciting chance to work with innovative HR technology solutions and contribute to critical business processes.
Position Overview for the Senior Java Developer:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications
- Build and enhance Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs
- Develop and optimize database queries and integrations across PostgreSQL and SQL Server environments
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand severance-related requirements and implement solutions
- Support application enhancements, production issues, and ongoing maintenance activities
Requirements for the Senior Java Developer:
- 6–9+ years of hands-on Java development experience
- Experience developing enterprise applications within HR-related environments, specifically supporting severance programs, workforce management, and benefits
- Strong experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs
- Strong SQL development skills, including experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Experience working in Agile development environments
